Petrikov Local Studies Museum

The museum is located in a two-story brick building, next to the stone museum there was a 16th-century castle built by local prince Yuri Alelkovich. What also distinguishes the museum is that it is located near a very picturesque area — a wonderful view of the Pripyat River, wide expanses of flood meadows, high banks and forests of the coastal area.  It is open to visitors since March 2008. The exhibition is divided into two parts: one of them is dedicated to archeology and ethnography of the Petrikov region, the other — to the Great Patriotic War and the war in Afghanistan, the genocide of the population of the Petrikov region. On the second floor there are halls of changeable expositions of the museum.
